  • Great turn-out of Girls & Women Fun Run 2024

    With over 300 participants from more than 20 nationalities, we hit on Sunday March 3, 2024 the streets in celebration of International Women’s Day and Women’s Month and raised together $1,650 for Women For Women International. A massive thank you to everyone who joined the 3rd edition of the Girls & Women Fun Run in Kinshasa!

  • Successful Launch of 1st edition of Semi de Lushi

  • Running for Breast Cancer Awareness

    Great turn-out of the 2nd edition of the annual Breast Cancer Awareness 5K Run on October 29, 2023 in Kinshasa with over 300 participants, 30 nationalities, opening remarks by the UK Ambassador Alyson King and $1,235 raised funds for the cancer charity Foundation Bomoko.

  • "Run for a Good Cause"-Program 2023

    Through our “Run for a Good Cause”-Program in collaboration with Given Gain 7,493 USD have been raised by participants during Congo River Marathon 2023 for Bombo Lumene Foundation, Friends of Bonobos and Congolicious Foundation. Thanks to all our fundraisers and supporters!

Creating community

It all began with an idea, passion for running and the motivation to create community. In August 2021 we successfully launched our first edition of Congo River Marathon (Africell Congo River Marathon) with 24 different nationalities running together in the heart of Africa.
