Would you like to make your 2026 Africell Congo River Marathon experience even more special? Come run and raise funds for one of our chosen charities.

We've partnered again with GivenGain this year, a platform that inspires fundraising. Here, you can easily select one or more of the listed DRC based foundations you'd like to support and create your own personal fundraising project in less than a minute. Since 2023, we raised over 21,000 USD together running for charity.

Here is how to get started with your own fundraising project in less than a minute:

1. Click on the “Fundraise & Donate” button below.

2. On the event page, click on “Start fundraising” and sign up.

3. Create your own personalised project page.

4. When done, share your project link with the world. Good luck with your fundraising efforts!

5. Lastly, don’t forget to register for the Congo River Marathon.

  • Congo River Marathon Foundation

    The CRM Foundation inspires and educates children and adults across the country to lead active and healthy lives, promoting physical activity and well-being to create a more health-conscious society.

  • Malaika Foundation

    Malaika offers community-driven approach focused on empowering the next generation of leaders in the DR Congo by providing access to education, water & health and more. Support their great programs for schools, community centers, water & health and agriculture.

  • Friends of Bonobos Foundation

    Bonobos are great and peaceful apes and unique to the DR Congo, they represent the best side of human nature and share 98,7% of the DNA. Help the World’s only Bonobo Sanctuary to save them and their rainforest home just 1,5h outside of Kinshasa.

  • Ngonda Foundation

    Support in its mission to fight period poverty and empower girls & women in the DRC. Through education, hygiene, and sustainable development, the foundation works to create lasting change while fostering greater awareness around female health and wellbeing.

  • Bombo Lumene Foundation

    A unique National Park Reserve 2,5h outside of Kinshasa in which the Bombo and Lumene Rivers meet in the most breathtaking scenery and wilderness. Help to protect its unique ecosystem, its biodiversity, and support the surrounding communities that depend on it.

  • Balabala Foundation

    Supports street children in the DR Congo through food assistance, education, healthcare, social reintegration, and safe shelter. The foundation is dedicated to restoring hope, dignity, and new opportunities for vulnerable youth living on the streets of Kinshasa.
